Tip of The Day: Check This If You Plan To Buy Used Notebook

First of all, turn on the notebook and check the System Properties and Device Manager (assuming the notebook installed with Microsoft Windows). This is where you can verify if the specification given by the shop matches with actual hardware installed in the notebook. For example, if the specification printed said the RAM is 512MB, make sure its matches with what captured by your Windows at the System Properties.

Next step is to test drive the notebook! Turn it on and open all the main programs or application installed in the notebook. Observe for any errors or the system performance such system hang or slow to response. If possible, scan the hard disk for any bad sectors before you decide to buy. Let the technician fix the problem before you pay them money. Lastly, ask if they provide any warranty.

Good luck!
